So feel free to stick that yellow card up your pooper. Soccer is totally lame.

Me too! If America wins the cup, I wouldn't be surprised if all the other countries just stopped playing since they have nothing to feel good about anymore

Coke is the worlds most popular drink, it doesn't make taste any better.

comments regarding 0-0 games being boring, i think its somewhat ignorant thing to say.
i'm sure many know how dramatic a 0-1 games could be, like the last USA game which allowed them to progress further into the knockout stage or the 2:2 come back.
i mean seriously, its like saying a person who grew up in a Muslim environment saying Buddhism sucks because you gotta shave your head.
everyone has their own opinion but it shouldn't be based on ignorance.

from what i hear, refs tend to not trust italians because of their "the boy who cried wolf" nature.

Uhg, just because I'm not easily amused by a guy kicking the ball to the other guy doesn't make me ignorant.

I already mentioned that I sat through 2 cup games trying to find out why anyone cares about soccer. I didn't find what I was looking for. I may not be entertained by this dull game, but that doesn't make me some ignorant just because you're amazed by it.

Bottom line

Most NFL pro athletes=Huge dudes, NOT VERY GOOD ATHLETES,

Especially relative to a professional soccer player.

Sports are played by athletes, not by overgrown numbskulls. Too bad football has turned hard away from athletes and to kids who ate to much kfc when they were kids.

Soccer is also played extensively worldwide, most likely making it more challenging to become pro.

ps; This is just my opinion, but the world cup tourney is obviously a lot harder and more tiring than a football game...........gets more and more fun to watch as the teams left are better, and a way more worn down.

I've played football, baseball and soccer, mainly soccer and baseball seriously.
I think they all sucks to watch on tv??

but how you could like guys (football) stopping play every 2 seconds, Its by far the worst to watch, and by far has some of the worst atheletes

i was speaking about soccer-haters in general. i'm sure you have your reasons as i have my reasons for disliking baseball but i still respect it. my apologies if it seemed like i was calling you ignorant, i was just talking about the reasons that most people come up with on why they dislike football.

Maybe your talking about baseball. Last I checked, most NFL players are world class athletes.

Fixed.

Just because the linemen are big fatties doesn't mean they can get up and move. You can't just pull any 300lb man off the street do what o-linemen do.

But I'm not interested in defending other sports, just ridiculing soccer

Ridicule on,man. You're behind your computer anyway. When you're on the pitch, it will be a different story.

true that, same could be applied to sumo wrestlers.
i think you could pull any 300lb man off the street and create an o-linemen, main factor is weight, then their skill comes in after that.

the current best korean goalie is being benched because he couldnt manage his weight, lol.
