Baseball is more exciting than Rally and F1 combined! In what other sport are you allowed to stand around doing nothing for extended periods of time in a field while you wait for a ball to come to you? I mean, COME ON! BASEBALL ROCKS!!! <--- As said through the voice of Joe from Family Guy just for effect
It's sad because right now, Soccer is really the only large sporting even occurring (not counting Wimbledon). Those who think soccer is somehow not a sport (wtf mate?) are clearly trying their hardest to keep themselves busy especially after the NBA Finals are over and done with and no NHL to watch or really anything else for that matter.
And then there is you, you who can't seem to get over yourself enough to reach the point where you can drop your pride and admit your lacking knowledge of soccer (which is clearly anemic in content) and come join in the excitement that surrounds an event that happens once every 4 years featuring players who are masters of their trade.
How can you not appreciate that?
I must pull out a red card on you because anyone who does not enjoy watching skilled craftsmen paint beautiful portraits demonstrating their skills in their respective fields deserves a big thumbs down from me.
You're just an instigator in this thread, either join us in our celebration of Italy failing or go watch your NBA draft or 1,001,203 of the games in the MLB season or how about game 70 of that epic Wimbledon match?
Back on topic: This totally deserves its own thread, I've been waiting for this moment for 4 years! France and Italy, the two teams who were "better" than the rest last WC couldn't even qualify.
There is one thing I will miss, those beautiful Italian women in the crowd.

Why is soccer Euro? It's played EVERYWHERE in the world, except here in the USA. I'm amazed we even have a world cup team!
