DW relented today. To Gary/Mann's credit they pursued this one.
Their crappy reputation combined with being difficult on the return (not to mention melting my engine)...
F-DW we're ordering the Injector Dynamics 1000cc Top feed setup
Ed - what I can I say... I wish I'd listened to you... and you were closer to San Jose in the first place.

If I get out of this Subaru, I'm probably out of Subaru's in general. The new Mustang / Camaro are just too good on paper not to go down the rabbit hole if I decide to take the plunge into another car.
... it would make my 4th F-Body if I did it

F-body? If you're gonna go down a Rabbit hole, why not really go down a Rabbit hole and get a "White Rabbit"? Seriously, you know you got it easy, and I mean real EASY access to Mopars w the new job.
Get yourself a nicely spec'd and powered Charger IMHO. hell, get the Civvy version of the AWD-Pursuit spec like I got that little thing for my ride and you'd have some fun still. PPV Package, flood-light delete, hmmm??

Weelllll ID injectors are in. Custom tune is in.
AND it's still doing the same damned thing as before. Won't hold idle, timing jumps around.
WTF is going on here?

timing is apparently wandering around from 4deg up to 30 while trying to idle.
The plot thickens. Mann uninstalled the Accessport completely... Idle cleaned up.
It ain't running right with the 1000cc injectors (as expected) but the car will idle.
I have an V2 on the car I bought back in 2008, wondering if the AP might be corrupted. It would kind of explain why the motor suddenly let go in the middle of the tuning process. If the AP had gone bad, the car would be fine as long as the AP was not connected. If the AP failed, corrupted the code and corrupted code went into the ECM...
I'm going to call Cobb tech tomorrow and see if they have any insight. Might try to take advantage of the V3 Upgrade program.
I'm really hoping this is what the problem is, because we are literally out of stuff to check.

Cobb is having issues with the latest update. I don't know 100% if that's what's going on but I know that Heedz has been having a similar issue where he ran the update and it nuked his ECU... similar issues. I'd connect with him and Mert and see what they've found out.

Good idea... although my last Firmware update was last Feb.
I'm gonna call Cobb in SoCal tomorrow, they are open on Saturday's
Gotta admit, I'm kinda wishing I'd bailed out of this car and bought a GT350 now.
The money I've spent would have easily been down payment
