cleofis, your friend willing to give you that much money for that paticular Subaru model?? Obviously, he doesn't care about praticality, he likes that body style. I'll give you $15,000 if I have that much money. GC8 body style is badass (bug eye is slightly better, hehe) and it is GREEN! I wish my car was green instead of PSM. I respect your decision for keeping it, for the love of GC8. I pay over $730 a month (payment + insurance) just to keep my bug eye wrx, and I'm happy with that because I get to drive my car everyday. Hope you feel the same way about your car. Just my $0.02.

Yeah, I totally feel you on that one. Theres just something about driving the car and looking at the scoop that just cheers me up. I don't know if anyone else feels like that about their car, haha

It's a good idea to sell the GC8. Mods don't neccessarily mean higher value, like most people know. Many poeple think just because a car has x amount of mods in them..it should costmore, but I don't thikn thats the case. Jump on the opporunity, sell the car and get the Evo, or an STi or something because eventually you'll fall in love with that car. Although I thikn you should try to talk the price a little higher because 22k on the motor..and the struts and springs..im guessing arent THAT old. It's still got some life left.

Exclamation

sell it.

youll get bored of it eventually anyway, and regret that you didnt sell it when you had a very very good offer on the table. im thinking about selling my 03 wrx and i could realistically only get ~14.5k for it. if your 100k+ MY98 can get $13.5k, there should be no question. plus, you spent $16k for the car in the end. getting 85% back in cash on a 7 year old car is like finding gold. you should do it. if you like your subaru 2.5RS, you'll LOVE your brand new 05 subaru STi.

very good point made. I would sell it to someone while they want it and you can make a killer downpayment on a STi or 06 WRX.

E-mail LIC about the payments. They're really cool guys and I'd recommend them to anyone! For my downpayment, I payed for the motor in full
