foglight dilemma.... any tips for theft deterent?
today i got some great looking silver painted foglight mesh grill
covers installed (replica ones since factory only comes in blue
or black). anyway, i have a feeling that this thing will be a
easy target for theives to steal at malls and stuff.
i want to make the screw on the mesh hard to take off, or
even permanently un-removable unless the screw head is
drilled off.
is there anyway to access the fog light bulb from the
bumper without removing the fog light assembly? if so,
i am planning to drill out the phillips head so that it is
unremovable.
thanks

Sears, i do believe, sells a tool that lets you get out screws where the head has been stripped. Can't remember the name but that guy on TV who builds houses was hawking the product.
It seems to work pretty good - check it out and if it does work then strip the head. Don't think it was an expensive tool.
