jeez.. tailgating is just crazy in any situation. If the leader bites it, you automatically bite it, too. Great conditions for a multi-car pileup.

 

not ANY situation. i.e. the track. i tail get a LOT at the track and a few times the guy in front of me bit it, i didnt.....

rally cars yes. rally drivers no.

still, really sucky and i REALLY hope that no one was hurt.

i want the rear wind vane off the white STi though.

 

I can't believe the guy asked for people to help out with his medical / insurance bills!

 

bleh.... i never do drives with more than a handfull of people...and like Ray said....people that i trust and know theyre styles and skill level.

i have never been a drive where there were no incidents...unless its just and one of two other cars. I only go on drives that organize or at least have a big part in the planning...and i usually lead after ive already made a run alone to check the course!

 

Ha! Boy this is timely ~ I am trying to pull together Subys from Southern Oregon for gatherings/meets etc. I listed things we were interested in, Auto-X, TSD rallies, Monte Carlo Style rallies, Meet & Greets and Bar-B-Que Shine and Shows...

NO GROUP DRIVES ~ for just this very reason ~ No thanks.

the owners of the cars asked me to remove pics....so i will oblige, however i know there were like 20 people with camera's snapping pics. dont see how my pics harm them, but whatever floats their boat.
