Yeah... what Daredevil said. It really depends on what you are doing. I am running a 155. I would say somewhere between 150 and 155 is good for you. Buy your stuff in the off season. Things are a lot cheaper. Also, keep with big name stuff. I would say, look to spend about $300 during the off season. You will need a board, boots, and bindings.

My girl's and my board got stolen at Northstar when we popped into the cafe for a powerade. We weren't even gone 5 minutes...I lock my ish up now if it's not in sight.

I bought a lock from TriCity when it was still open. Paid $7 for it or something. Was tired of putting quarters into the board lock rack thing at Bear Valley.

Be prepared to hurt... just accept it and keep practicing. It honestly took my third snowboarding trip to finally have fun.
