what kind of snowboard setup do you have?

I just got a NeverSummer SLR 161cm board and Burton freestyle bindings.
went to sugarbowl and hit their powdery back country this weekend..

what an amazing board that is.. anyone in the market i'd HIGHLY recommend it. Just not a 161cm unless you are heavier. I want to get a second one in a 157 or 158cm too.. one for less pow days. because the 161 was amazing on the deeper powder but cutting back and forth in the backcountry stuff was a serious task.. im 185lbs and 6ft. so it's a pretty big board.

anyway what do you ride?

I ride a Burton Joystick w/ co2s .... came from a Banana w/ Force-SLs.

IMO Joystick > Banana ... has all the flexibility of a banana but is also stable at high speeds whereas with the banana on icy-ish days... just like my gf... I get a whole lotta chatter .

I rode my friend's SL-R and had a blast... You can really get going on those things. A little too heavy for me... but it may just be I have weak legs

My setup right now is a Santa Cruz Mountain Ale 166 with Burton P1 bindings. At the end of this season I'm probably gonna pick up a Burton Custom X 162W. The 166 is great, but it's really hard to navigate tight tree runs when it's not steep enough to have speed.

I've got a LIB 165 Emmagator and a LIB 160 Emma Peel wide. Sidecut is about the same on both of these boards. The gator is a bit quicker and offers more float in pow. I get a more responsive edge with the peel. I ride the peel in most conditions.

Nitro Team 162mm w/ Ride RXs. Just picked up the bindings so I haven't tested them, but I've been enjoying the board this season.

NS boards are awesome, but you pay for it. Just another great product that originated from my hometown (that and Fat Tire)

Had a GNU Altered Genetics 155 with K2 Cinch CTS bindings, just picked up a GNU Carbon High Beam Series 156 with FLOW Amp 5 bindings. Not sure how I feel about the FLOW bindings (haven't taken it to the snow yet) so might be picking up something else when I get some money.
