Yeah that's it, I ride "grilled cheese in a foreman grill" style. Of course this is only for advanced riders. LOL

No prob, bruddah!

As far as the coordinates: the map on the NWS page, labeled "Detailed Point Forecast," has Latitude & Longitude as well as Elevation of the red square. These numbers are shown just under the map itself.

How did I get these numbers for that specific location, ya ask? I lucked out since Sierra's website has a sample GPS trail map that shows the coordinates somewhere along Smokey (backside). So I just tweeked the Lat. number to go a l'il further north toward the top of Grandview, and plugged that number into the url. And... Presto!

Damn you, boyz! If I do hit the slopes in the next few days... it'll likely be Sat & Sun at Kirkwood since my softball teammate had suggested it. I'll see what I can do about Sun & Mon at Sierra instead b/c he's off til Wed.

Jeff... I know ya work Wed thru Sat now, did ya have plans on Sun already or do ya just like to hog the slopes to yourself midweek like we'd all like to ... I'll keep ya posted.

Max... I'll keep ya posted, too.

Let's just move back to the "rollcall" thread. Damn hijackerz!!! heh heh

Lol, funny stuff, and thanks a lot for the advice! I'm rereading all of them over and over just to get it, but I'm sure once I'm doing it Ill get it. THanks for all the tips everyone! and daredevil, thanks for the offer but im heading there saturday plus going to kirkwood. I'll let you guys know how it goes. I'm going up for 2 nights and 3 days, but only boarding for 1 day as we have other stuff planned. If we really wanna do snowboarding again, I think we can do it on Sunday but not very likely since $$ for lift ticket + rental = too much for me.

I will, I need to keep an eye on the weather. I'm not a big fan of wind, and white outs. I want to catch the *** end of this front. I'll pm you before then if I am going to make it up. I'm going to try to get my wife up there too. She's a groomer queen.

Cliff, let's make a commitment now so I can cut through the BS. If you can make it Mon, I'm there, bad weather or not.

Ray, if your reading this... SICK DAY BISHHHHHH!!!!

*edit* i hope you are going for 2+ days. the first day is horrible and makes you want to give up.
This is true. If you are over-weight..it makes learning much harder and more tiring

<--was over weight when I learned

Now im in MUCH better shape, and man is it 10x easier
