i bought my car in 2004 and always wanted to meet fellow suby enthusiasts, so one day i was hanging out with my friend who had an MR2 and asked if i was on i club.

Sometime in 2001 to 2002, my brother and I were driving down Great Highway in San Francisco. I was kind of into cars then and saw a group of WRX's and 2.5RS having a meet at Ocean Beach. At that time, I don't think meets were a big thing and thought wow that's pretty cool, wonder what group that is. Then I googled Ocean Beach and car meet and found i-club.com through that. This was before the split, and loved the WRX ever since. I have an STi now and my brother has an 06 WRX.

Always had a thing for the sound of the Scooby flat four...went to a few i-club meets that was mixed with FIRM and my motorcycle forum BARF...then my sisters boyfriend let my drive his modded hawkeye when he was drunk (first time driving a Scooby and it had a boost spiking problem) and i automatically got hooked...fast forwarding, i got my somewhat modded EK hatch stolen and stripped. Car doesnt feel like its "mine" anymore so im upgrading when i come back from the military and want a STI...i remembered i-club from the meets and some folks who had the i-club stickers and skullhead decals..that and my buddy David is on i-club

i was trying to sell my stock rims, so my boyfriend who is a Nissan guy for life (but he is slowly coming to the dark side ) and is a leader of Team-Drive Nissan Club told me i should go on i-club... now i check it 3+ times a day
