How did you ORIGINALLY hear about i-club?
In high school I got randomly directed to i-club off of mr2oc.com, back then nasioc and i-club were still on the same.
Few years later I bought my '03 and went to i-club.com - it didn't look like the site I remembered it to be (which had become nasioc) but I was like "meh whatever" and signed up anyways.

My very first meet though was mvkk then the next night at bubble back when there was at least 200 and sometimes plus cars there. Before iclub I didn't have any friends here in Cali cus I just moved here in 2005. I have to say I have many friends due to i-club and everyone has helped me through many many tough times. I have had 4 subarus but now have moved on to my Shelby but I only hang out here. This is one of the most tight knit groups around and when you are at your low i-club members help one another. We are more than just a car club I consider i-club a family. And for someone like me who doesn't have much of a family it really helps me get through the tough times!

I've known about Subarus since 1998 at the very least, but I've been into cars since 1996 with all the rice rockets I saw in high school. I had an issue of Tuning Concept (who's FOB/ricer enough to remember that free publication?) that featured the 98 2.5RS. I was originally a Honda guy (my very first car). I really wanted a different car, so I was on zilvia.net for a while during my early college years. I was pretty set on getting a 240SX fastback. It was an Initial D phase back then. I don't know what possessed me to look into Subarus and decided to up the ante in my future car goals.
I just remembered knowing about I-Club during the summer of '01 when a blue ridge pearl RS with "i-club.com" stickers drove by staring at my friend's S13 (it had a JDM Silvia front end). Then I lurked the site for months before finally joining (the original/now NASIOC) I-Club.com under the handle, "Fujiwara" (once again, I was a huge Initial D fan at the time). Logged onto the Bay Area section on a daily basis and came out to the 2nd or 3rd ever Union City Krispy Kreme meet. I think I was too shy to come out, but people encouraged me to show up anyway.
From that point on, I've met some incredible people, a lot of friendships I never got with any other internet car forum prior to that. Through the years, I've done my part to promote I-Club.com to any friends who just bought Subarus and even the people I randomly meet because we had similar cars who aren't on forums. Oh yea, I remembered I bought my car a month after "the split" in late 2002 and posting a teaser photo of my (new to me at the time) 2.5RS in the "What did you get for Christmas?" thread or something. A lot of my UCKK buddies were saying, "IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!" I was fortunate to land a better part time job to be able to afford a newer/safer car than my '92 Integra.
You know, Takumi's dad did have an STi Type R and the car did appear in the manga just shortly after I bought my car or at least shortly before. Fate? I think so. "Takumi", "Imprezzy" and now known as "Hollandaze". I'm still here.

When I first bought my 02' WRX in '03, I did a simple internet search for Subaru Forums. And found I-Club.
Sold my WRX in 06'. Got another WRX in '10. Back in business.
