I've installed car stereos for over 10 years and I've never seen any of my crimps came loose. It's all about using the right tool and technique. Soldering for a stereo install is too much work and unnecessary.

you may still wanna think about wiring up a hidden switch that when activated, will make the monitor work as designed.

meaning, you have to be in PARK or parking brake switch-activated.

why?

it's illegal in kalifornia for a driver to see a monitor that shows something else besides navigation data or rear view mirror view...

that way, if a cop gets close by, you just flip a hidden switch and BAM... instant compliance with the law... lol...

haha that is true but thats why you just change it and put it onto the radio station! BAMN! no need to hit the switch but more like a touch of a button
