Lets play a game called "My fav Amendments".

Assuming the pinko commies take over and we get to keep 3 of the 10 items in the Bill Of Rights, who would say dibs on what Amendment?

This would be political suicide in the South. Three things cannot be interfered with in the south; religion, firearms and football. You don't disturb those 3 things under any circumstance.

Exactly, we'll be lucky if we get three and you can rest assured the 2nd amendment will be one of if not the first to go.

If anyone wants to learn how to reload, I'm here every other Saturday.
I would be so down to learn that, and get you some reloaded ammo if didn't suck at it. I have only done this a bit, and it was years ago (50cal rounds for my friend's dad's Sharps) so I would basically say I am starting from 0 but might pick it up quick.

Its an awesome hobby especially for someone who enjoys a quality long-gun shot. There's something to be said for sending a 155 grain Palma from an M700 .308 downrange to hit a target the size of an apple, under variable wind conditions and 100% humidity of course.

It would be pretty kickass to learn not only how to craft them, but what makes one better than the next. I am all about learning and owning skills that are not necessarily important today, but could be essential tomorrow. I really enjoy making stuff, working with metals, hand crafting - stuff like that.

The design of "the perfect round" is specific in most cases only to a specific rifle. For instance, I can make a 7.62 round fly nearly perfectly out of this M-24 bolt action while it won't be the optimal round for use in a semi-auto M-21 that fires the same round with respect to calibre. So many variables have to be considered that it's tough to calculate. In a single shot tactical scenario it's even tougher to judge. The round will be fired ONE time from a cold, clean bore rifle. That means you have to clean the rifle and have it sit between every shot to sight it in. They you have to measure the atmospheric conditions during that sight in to adjust for downrange. What is the humidity, temperature, wind conditions, etc... All these affect bulletflight and therefore change your load for this scenario. It's all about knowing YOUR rifle and what shots most consistently then adjusting off that.

Yeah the .338 is an excellent round but there are problems with the systems that fire it. Its great in bolt-action (reference M24A2) but that's it. The M-110 (essentially an SR-25) is the best urban sniper rifle as far as I'm concerned. Also, Barrett makes the most over-rated weapons in history. They struggle to produce a Sub-MOA weapon which is what sniping is all about.

Sucks how the government is trying to go around all the laws we have against what they're doing. We should march (along with the millions of other americans) against capital hill to show them we disapprove of their retarded legislation... It's like there are checks and balances for everything and right now the Presidential branch keeps trying to impose their mob mentality and just not even allowing hearings in congress for these laws. Anywho, if you're in the market for even gun supplies, you better get goin before those taxes and anything that has to do with guns just gets taxed/restricted/tracked.

In that case you should learn how to fite with swords and other melee weapons. Watch enough post-apocalypse movies and you come to realize that one day we will run out of bullets and we'll have no choice but to slash each other to death.

I think that all this legislation is just a smoke screen. It's meant to distract us from the real threat that looms on the horizon. SkyNet is coming! No one is ever safe!
