If you don't want to read about it don't. The life you say you have must not be all you've cracked it up to be, especially since you took time out of your day reading a thread you didn't want to read. There must be some boredom there, don't you think?

I still don't understand why people open a thread up, take the time to read through each post, and then ***** and moan about the fact that it isn't about cars on a "car" forum.

Maybe if you contributed a little more, you might realize that people on here debate things. It helps everyone see both sides of an argument.

What was that quote... "every sentinel for every man woman and child" ?
There is a tracking system that can cover everything you purchase, anywhere, everywhere. (right now at least the US because we're owned by a ****in POS government that we can't question or audit)

You dont think they have money? LoL think about our country and what doesn't get audited? The Federal Reserve, they don't have to tell anyone where the trillions upon billions of trillions are going toward. ****, we don't even get a fed note saying where our tax dollars are going, and they created a law in the 50's that doesn't allow us to audit their stuff?

Remember, a single fed note is like... a single piece of monopoly (the game) bill. They took the real treasure (gold) and gave us this paper instead and said its currency. They can track every bullet created, every THING created in the industry. If you dont think they have the power to do that then live in your cool special world. In reality, they have all the power and make all the shots without someone questioning them.

I'm set up for reloading .223, .308, 7mm Rem Mag, .45 ACP; powder, bullets, primers, cases, and a Dillion 650 press.
If anyone wants to learn how to reload, I'm here every other Saturday.

Keep the ammo, don't invest in US dollars. The currency is going to crash. =P

Oh em gee! But who would be watching the auditors!

I'm still reading through the bill but I'm pretty sure the encoding process would allow for the tracking of ammunition sales. Real time tracking of an actual round and its own seems a bit far fetched. I'm still curious about the root cause of the opposition to this bill.

Is it the financial burden of having to pay an extra $.05? Is it the prospect of the State knowing when, where and how much ammunition your purchase?

I'd just hire a 3rd party law firm. From China, from Europe, from different places to actually audit our stuff. Unfortunately, the US has so much pride up their own asses, that this will not happen. The government/states are going to try and unarm individuals, every which way possible. Once the Dollar collapses, and law enforcement don't get paid or there are not enough, the crime rate is going to sky rocket and the only thing protecting you from the guy who wants your water/car will be your gun and the ammo in it.

Which is why I'm still waiting for a PM from Brucelee for his hideout area when the catastrophe comes.

I am sure that it wouldn't matter what 3rd party did the audit. We would still be screwed.

I dislike some things that the ACLU does, but I am sure they would love to exploit the Federal Reserve.

Both.

Paying extra for anything is annoying when that added cost is unnecessary.

The obvious intent of this bill is to crack down on gun crimes. The intent sounds good enough, but it's clear the overwhelming majority of deadly shootings involves stolen/black market guns and ammo. This bill and bills like it keep coming up because the government can't/wont enforce current laws. This is more a waste of money and a way to invade privacy more than anything else.

You don't fight crime bad making more things illegal, you do it by enforcing the ***-ton of laws that already exist.

Does this all happen before the 1) zombie apocalypse 2) giant earthquake turns California into an island 3) giant meteor crashes into the earth 4) polar ice caps melt and we all drown 5) gulf stream reverses or stops resulting in an ice age.

Original questions remain...
