sounds like he was just an *******. I agree if he did it to me i'd be pist.

Firefighter or not there was nothing to accomplish, and it's his fault for not properly directing you, they have megaphone or whatever so.....

*******s come in every shape and size, and career position. I would have at least said **** you or thrown something at him tho.

What he did was wrong, but you ****ed up!

The last thing they need is someone else injured because you "thought it was clear"
or a fire fighter run over because he pissed off the guy whos car he kicked.....

all the people involved were 2 lanes over in the FU**ING BUSHES WHERE THE CARS WERE.. there was no danger but whatever i admit iwas wrong but as a person who is close to a law enforcment person i would think he would do his job well enough to make his directions clear. a simple hand signal was all he needed to do but he failed to do that clearly,

all i can say is anyone else would have been confused of his intentions also.
next time ill just sit there and block the road untill a cop tells me to get the hell out off the way cus im blocking the flow of emergency vehicles. :bash:

There are proper and improper ways for emergency personell to handle situations like this.
It sounds like the firefighter was trying to signal you to stop like our friend here >:bananen_smilies091:
Instead of using proper hand signals or even equipment readily available on their rig for such situations.
Of course the fact that he was "waving like a retard" should have sparked a small idea that he might be trying to tell you something.
The door kicking was outta' line but you will never win that battle. After 9/11 firefighters are pretty much put on a pedestal by everyone...

Sorry about your door.

If he was close enough to kick your door then he was close enough for you to roll down your window and ask if you can proceed.

As for the firefighters being put on a pedestal after 9/11 comment...I disagree. They have always been put on a pedestal for the heroic efforts of saving lives and for their bravery of running into burning homes. Sure, a lot of them are arrogant bastards, but don't sit here and pretend you have no arrogant bone in your body either. The difference is their arrogance allows them to enter burning homes and your arrogance shows your stupidity.
