Hey Porkchop which high flow cat was that, that was making the car crap out of 25hp?

Sorry to thread jack WHTWRXWGN, man getting caught is never fun but I'm sure everyone here would agree that is a risk we all take when modding your car. Post back with the penalty price I'm interested in seeing how much it is. Good luck!

Actually, SRT-4's come from the factory without mufflers. They have cats, like every other brand-new vehicle for sale in this country.

I recently got my WRX registered (almost $1500, ouch!) and the person doing the visual inspection almost failed me for no other reason than she had no idea what she was looking at. When she saw the intercooler and the other things sprouting from the engine (the car is dead stock, btw), it might as well have been a lunar buggy. She even had to ask me if the car ran on gasoline, because she assumed it was some kind of diesel or hybrid (!)

Clowns.

amazing how flame wars work aint it?

I can understand where you are coming from. Our air is getting dirtier by the second, but unless all people recycle their cars and ride bikes, walk, or use another means of transportation, smog, will continue to plague California.

It is your opinion that matters to you, most of us don't care. But when you pass judgement on those of us not running with cats (not the meow kind, that could hurt) and say that indicates we the people catless subies (no, this does NOT include me) do not care for our brothers and sister, it makes us angrie. Its a law, yes and we should abide to the laws of the land, but then so should our government.

The laws are unfair, so is the justice system, and so are you. You could have left your opinion and been over with it, but you chose to speak out AGAINST peoples free will, and tell them they are wrong. That is what is not right.
If you want to be a law abiding citizen, thats your choice, I know for fact you have broken laws before, wheather it be intentional or not. We are human, we do what we feel like within reason.

If you are pro-abortion, or pro-choice I could say that you don't care about the beauty of human life. But there are laws about abortion.

<matts flame starter> If you voted for Bush, I could say you don't care about people having the right to live. But there are laws on murder.

maybe I don't make sense to some people, and do to others, who knows.
But the point I am trying to make is STFU with your complaining about what people should or shouldn't do, humans are selfish, and we want what we want.
If you have a problem with people making decisions to break laws, or increase their dayley volume of unburnt fuel in to the air, share your opinion, STFU, or go live out your life in a cave.
We are given the choice in this country to make our own decisions, and if we disagree with some law within reason, we can speak up about it and not get murdered for it.

now, anybody wants to share their opinion of my opinions and none-sense I just spewed, go ahead.
