I have heard that its about $500 per Cat that was removed.....

I could be wrong though.

Sux dude...sorry to hear, where were you when you got nabbed? was it CHP, Sherriff, or City Police?

Actually I think the law says it can be up to $5,000 per cat, however I have not seen that happen, its usually a ref ticket.

It's 5K per cat plus some time in the pokey.

BTW what did you do to draw attention to you?

Loud exhaust? Showboating? Street Racing??

Those are the MAX fines that could be given, doesnt necessarily mean that you will get slapped with a $15k ticket......that would be fugged up. esp, if you werent really doing anything dumb, like racing or showing off. Good luck

wow, maybe i should buy the heat shield they sell at gruppe s that hides the down pipe. what city did you get caught in... my buddy recently got pulled for the same reason but he had a different motor in his civic...he had to remove his h22 to get his **** ref'd.

How did they find out you have no cats? Did they stick a snake up there? They are starting to do that in my area to check for cats and some of my friends have put screens in there exhaust so when they stick the snake up there it will hit the screen which is not a bad idea.
