So you were tuned with the mods from the link and gained 30tq. You then put on the tomei and took a dyno pull to see what a untuned header would bring. You then say you gained 30tq from the tomei header, up-pipe, downpipe and catback but really the 30tq was from the pnp'd headers plus the other mods. From the reply saying you gained 30tq with the tomei's and other mods shows that your saying the tuner really sucks.

i have had the fact in my head that
unequal-better lower end
equal -better highend
might be wrong with all headers but i thought this was just the general fact out there.
If i had the cash pnp stockers w/high flow midpipe and save for a tomei intake manifold. haha, totally out of the price range but that thing is sex.

Andy I would put %100 the the Tomei equal headers! one piece with a 3 adapter flange and a great up pipe. If you ever get your *** to my house I will let you hear and feel the power. just give me a ring.

You can do a lot of mods to increase power without touching the headers, MUCH MORE! Changing the header would come after a bunch of other mods to increase power, like turbo, intercooler, turboback, high flow cats, access port + tune (after you complete your mods), plus much more.

One thing I LOOOOOOOVE about our cars is the amazing sound that they make... There aren't many cars out there that sound as unique and great as ours, by adding the equal length headers you're selling yourself short in that dept. It's a tough choice, but I'd skip the header for now and focus on other mods and keep my amazing boxer rumble.
