Crazy day full of 2011 WRX's. Here's how today went:
We installed an Invidia TBE, Whiteline sways and endlinks, Walbro, MBC and tuned a 2011 WRX.
Installed a Walbro and MBC and tuned another 2011 WRX.
Installed a set of Bilstein struts and RCE Springs on another 2011 WRX.
A 2010 WRX got picked up after installing Bilstein struts, RCE Springs, and Stoptech rotors, pads, and lines.
And a 2009 STI got picked up after an engine build.
Awesome day
Have a great weekend!
Thanks

First one did 263whp/303ft-lbs. The second one had the same setup plus a CAI and did 276whp/302ft-lbs. We didnt do baselines because the cars already had too many mods to run safely untuned. Stock 2011 WRX's do 215-220whp on our dyno.
Thanks

Been doing a bit more research on EBCS idea and came across a few threads about running an interrupt EBCS in parallel with MBC. Have you tuned any cars with this setup? Seems like the best of both worlds. Easy waste gate duty cycles that won't over boost in higher gears.
Is there really going to be any advantage over a well tuned map on the stock bleed style EBCS? Im not into wasting money but I like the idea of faster boost response with no partial throttle issues and no chance of boost spikes. Maybe these are problems I wouldn't have on the stock turbo anyway? I know you are a MBC fan but this hybrid setup seems like a more elegant solution in every way!
I should just come in and get tuned on the stock ebc before I needlessly spend extra cash for little reward huh? LOL As you can tell, I'm anxious to squeeze what I can out of the car on the stock downPipe.
PS: Would love a response to my PM when you get a minute. Thx

I got a 08 sti. I am currently stage 2 (cobb dp, invidia q300, aem CAI, walbro fuel pump)currently running the cobb ap stage 2 map. After 1000miles and one track day. I saw there are black coal wearing inside the pine and the donut gasket. Is it because the map getting the fuel pump pump too much oil and the car is running rich? I want to get a protune to keep the engine out of trouble for daily drive and some track experience, because I really love my car.
Another question If I replace a aftermarket uppipe to the car, how much horsepower it will gain, will it harm the engine for long run since it is stock header and aftermarket uppipe
