E36 price appraisal
Hey guys, I know some of you guys are BMW fans too. My friend is trying to sell his 1995 325i convertible auto with 166k clean title. Craigslist is a little vague for the worth of these cars so I want to see what you guys think I should price this at.
I just threw it up on craigslist for 2k just to test the water.

I sold my '93 E36 325i to an auto recycler for $550 2 years ago after it had pooped out on me beyond what I wanted to keep putting into the car @ 230k miles w/ a salvage title. More like a double salvage title. ha. I think that car had a sign on it that said, sure go ahead and hit me. Got rear-ended once and a couple years later someone backed out of a driveway and side-swiped my rear passenger door.
My family bought the bimmer as my first car when I was 16 (2005) for $4,500 (clean title back then) so I don't think he'll get 2k but it does say OBO so I think that's fair as a starting point.
I loved that bimmer though, the straight 6 and manual in that thing made it a joy to drive.
