thats cool then if ur intake got carb number that should be fine but if you think that your cbe is street legal theyll have to test the db and if it pass go ask for the certificate so that when a cop pulls you over for your exhaust you can just show them the cert. well hopefully it pass db!

a friend of mine did it to his Prelude he passed db and they gave him a cert for it..

well i dont really think its safe to keep it on its more like a risk you know cuz im not really sure but you can ask them to test the db first cuz i think thats what they gonna do if they see your exhaust but if you dont want the hassle just put back the stock on again. the down part on that is if you like the blitz you gonna put it back again then have the risk of getting pulled over cuz of the loud exhaust but if your exhaust pass db and you get the cert for it you can be as loud as you want and if popos pull you over cuz of that reason just show your cert and they will leave you alone lol

right now i kinda have the same prob cuz i just need to get my fixin ticket sign off by a police officer i dont want to put the stock back but i cant challenge them either cuz im running catless. im too lazy to put my stock back and show it to a police officer get it sign pay the bail then take off the stock again put the aftermarket exhaust back its a work LoL but if get lucky and get a popo sign it without doing that i save a lot of time..

speaking of which, the same exhaust had me pulled-over over 9 times since i got my car (MR2 Turbo) +1 on the jinxed but i never got a ticket..

haha thanks bro, maaaan i just found out that my friend who also got pulled over for his exhaust, ended up paying $149 as a fine for having HKS exhaust on his car. gaaaah i hope i dont have to pay any fines.

dude he put his stock exhaust back on, got it ref'd AND STILL got a fine for having the exhaust on his car. He told me that the officer that pulled him over said it was illegal to have an exhaust on your car PERIOD. wth? the cop just told me to get a silencer. so idk everybody is saying different things.

 

oh no wonder its expensive he was sent to the referee. i dont need to go to a ref for mine i just need to put my stock exhaust and my front license plate back then get it sign by a popo and i should be straight i dont think my fine will be that much im guessing not more than 50 bucks for a that kind of fixin ticket. whew i really got lucky on that one LoL
