My 06 was recently rear-destroyed by an idiot in a dump truck.

Right now, WRX's are in HIGH demand. So the high resale value and the nature of your damage (I'm guessing) will not result in a total. Good luck!

I think nowadays cars have too much power (so stupid people accelerate and get speed too quickly to stop), the cars are too heavy (longer stopping distances), traffic is horrendous in the bay area, and most importantly people are too stupid to realize they are too stupid to txt while driving and don't pay attention to the road and only stare idiotically at the car directly in front of them without realizing that the chain of cars ahead (and they should be able to see with their "high sitting" SUV's).

This was my car. It took insurance less than 1 second to say, "yeah, totalled".

There was also no way anyone was going to fix this... however it's a great doner car because this was all chassis. Engine/trans/brakes/susp/interior/frontclip EVERYTHING else is in great shape and ready to transplant.

I'm guessing your car will be repaired, and it'll be good enough as long as you aren't overly **** about it.
