Osama Bin Laden was killed in 2002 in a cave. Rockets were fired into the cave and confirmation of his death was circulated around the Al Qaeda network.

My gut lead me to ask the same question as soon as I heard the news. Luckily we will never see (legitimate) proof of his death, so not much use in wondering.

Not sure how I feel about all this. The whole thing reeks of BS - too much coincidence.

 

There's video of it, the entire operation via helmet cams. The pres watched it happen live via sat feed. I'm sure it'll be leaked and we can all watch him die for the duration of time. How sweet would that be?

in response to all the people stating that we should drag his body around town... thank the Lord none of you are our Commander in Chief, you people are just as terrible...

how long does it take to come up with a birth certificate as well as college transcripts? why are these kept from the public? why would someone have to ask for them?

ULTIMATELY, the war is to "stabilize" the region politically so that we (America) can "safely" conduct international business there. that's the ultimate reason why we're there. If we leave right away, same thing that happened to vietnam will happen in the region. we either need to help evacuate all the "rebels" or they're done right when we leave. reasons are money, money, and money...

 

well said although when we educate rebels, they end up declaring war against us 10-20 years down the line.
