Ed, you should take a lesson from wrxBRAH JK MAN, I KNOW SARCASM IS HARD TO DETECT SO I WAS JUST BEING SARCASTIC SO EVERYONE KNOWS. I WAS BEING SARCASTIC IN CASE YOU DIDN"T READ THE FIRST SENTENCE.

HERE ARE SOME EMOTICONS TO ENHANCE MY SARCASM:
hey it would take me half a day to copy/paste and host a ton of pages for you when its easier just to go and buy a manual from the store. the link i posted gives you a lot of info on the pistons. way to assume i wasnt being helpful.

No no! I was actually being genuine and really do appreciate it, that's why I left a bunch of spaces between what I said to Ed, he's the one I was razzing, not you. Sorry, I didn't mean it to come off that way but I can see how you saw that.

But yeah, the car has been in stock trim for daaaaaaaaays, I didn't have my car tuned very long unfortunately and I think that's why my #3 got pwn3d.

Sorry if I'm a little sloppy today, I'm trying to be as rational as possible but the tooth meds are making me friggin drooooowwwwsssy as hell. The beer prolly didnt help that.

I don;t recommend it.
Dude, this just doesn't make any sense. Only a month ago

you claim to have exhaust, apv2 and custom tune from GST but today you say you've been driving the car on the stock map for two years.

It's also a bit ironic that you post how dangerous prescription meds can be, and then turn around and take them in combination with alcohol.

Just hone it and run some 100mm pistons, problem solved? CP, Weisco and Manley are all great options.

Yeah, sorry... Referring to my car when it ran nicely... I planned on going back after some minor exhaust mods and retune but life hit me with a few surprises and the car basically sat stock for a while and I'd just drive to and from work (work is like 2 mins away)... But yeah, anyway... I need some sleep, I can't stay awake anymore (stayed up all last night due to my big *** "McStroke" face and I'm not in a lot of pain anymore so it's sleep time. peeeas

So you post a thread asking about what your CEL could be and then you give mis-information about your modifications, leaving out that it has actually been running the stock map for over a year. How can you expect useful information about fixing your car when you only give half the story?

You should be a politician.

Sucks, and it's a drivetrain... Why would that cover your engine? Also the 2007 Sti blow all the time! I am still yet to see one with over 60k on a stock engine

^ It's a 5 year or 60k mile powertrain warranty, so it does include the motor.
