I always seem to win the low insurance contests...

34 years old, clean record.
250,000/500,000 full coverage and then some.
500 collision, 250 comp deductables.

$375 every 6 months. That's $62.50 a month.

Some of you would be better off buying a small RV to party in, then you would qualify for Good Sam insurance and you get lumped in with all the old people driving motorhomes which tend to be careful drivers. And you'd have an RV you could use for Party Central

Why do people get such small deductables, I use $1000. I mean I figure how often am I going to get in an accident VS. the super high rates I'd have to pay with a lower deductable? Low deductables just dont make any sense to me, maybe I'm missing something...

Yeah, depends on the company... I use $500 because the diff to $1000 wasn't that much less, but to go to $250 was a lot higher... I think it was 14 months to end up paying the $250 in premiums, I don't file claims that often, so I went with $500.

I still get raped on insurance, plus having an RS probably helps keep the cost down. =\
Not really, especially since it is a 2 door car, that never helps.

I have a $100 because if my car gets vandalized then I dont have to pay out the *** to get it fixed.

That's your comp deductable, what about collision? And did you look at the difference in rates? Sometimes it's just not worth it. But insurance agents tend to quote you low deductables and see if you'll bite.. if you say it's too high, they raise them to get a better rate.

all you people and your crazy low rates. I just got mine lowered...I am not sure but I think it's like...way lower. I was at $170 a month. Now I think it's $130 a month...I'm stoked if it is.
I have an 04 wrx wagon. 27 clean record.

as for company...try Mercury insurance.
if you are in the san jose/milpitas area the mercury place is called milpitas insurance I think. dave tolle is his name. I could be slightly off in all of this but I think if you checked you see what I'm talking about. Talk to dave. very cool guy. Tell him ray egelhofer sent you over. both me and my room mate are with him and he's done nothing but right by both of us.
