Bay Area Car Insurance....
I am looking for a company to insure me and not have to pay $2200 every 6 months to drive my car.
I am 22 and have been driving for 2.5 years and am financing the WRX.
No accidents or anything, clean record.
Anybody else out there in my boat, or anyone that can recommend an insurance company that wont rape me every 6 months?

I moved to them from 21st century. My rates are much cheaper, I have almost twice the coverage, $250 deductible, all $8k of my mods are covered. I only had the maximum mod coverage of $5k on 21st, $500 deductible and less overall coverage.
I can't say enough good things about wawanesa. Check them out. The one thing is they will drop you if you have 2 speeding tickets on your record. You have to have Good Driver status to be with them.
I'm 29, no speeding tickets *on record*. I have three cars insured under them. A 04 WRX, a 01 Neon and a 90 Nissan 240sx and my monthly rate is $220 for all three cars total. I also don't even live in a very good neighborhood. I live in Oakland.
You all are getting raped. Although since you haven't been driving for very long, that might be the problem, also your age.
