Insurance Rates on bay area wagons?
I'm a 25/26 single male, Fremont, clean record, shopping for a 2004 wagon.....the cheapest I got was 1470 a year full coverage from AAA. Anyone have anything cheaper (and are around my age?)
(this has been discussed in the general forum.....but I don't care about someone's insurance in north carolina!)

I'm 30 and single, living in Santa Clara. I pay $1500/year total for coverage on my 2 cars (02 WRX Wagon, 96 Chevy Impala SS). If I were insuring ONLY the WRX, that'd be around $900-1K per year.

Mercury, thru Campus Insurance in San Jose
I'll also note that my driving record is spotless and no wrecks.....needless to say, I'm sure that helps

26, married, one fairly expensive wreck of my WRX on my record.
'02 wrx wagon
'02 wrx sedan

$1600/year. The wagon is about 300 cheaper per year. Supposedly the risk rating on them is lower than the sedans (duh!).
Fo shizzle my USAA policy dawg.

I'm 26/27 clean driving record with a 2002 WRX wagon and my 21 yr old wife's Accord on the same policy. Our combined yearly rate is ~$1400. You should be able to beat that by at least a few hundred dollars for only one car.
If you truly have a clean record try http://www.wawanesa.com/ no one will beat their rates.
