Given the number of people that DNF'd at station 5 throughout the day, I'd argue it was a course design or course marking failure. I walked the course 2x before I ran, and watched 4 RG's before I ran, and I still nearly DNF'd there.
It was the fact there was a single cone that marked the corner. There were no other cones along it's edges for at least 50 ft per side. So if you overcooked the previous corner, the next cone you could see was way down your field of view.
Also, the Si that kept on DNF'ing was a friend of mine who's very new to autox. So, my brother tried to help him but he still overcooked it and DNF'd. Oh well.

No embarrassment there though, I rode with gagan and he nearly missed it his first run, and If I wasnt working T4 with 5 ride alongs, I possibly would have missed it as well
He did good in the fun runs at the end though :RockOn - not mine:
Silly was a strong word, it was just funny watching the T5 workers getting ready to sprint on his 3rd run =P
Definitely!
I'm very happy for ya mate, it was some great driving out there!
But you should know that I hit 36.062 with a passenger in Fun4
I still can't believe that I'm still not giving it 100%
. I don't know if I will ever attack with everything I have, or keep learning later that I could've been faster. *sigh*

My car still has some extra alignment to dial in, but changing to lighter wheels and Azenis has really helped.
I really focused on your advice and used plenty of brakes and got on the gas mid bend to allow spool time..it really helped.
It's cool seeing so many i-clubbers turning out for the events...even though the announcer seems to have something against blue Subarus
