Thumbs up

Hmmmm....I didn't see any problems at all with the cones. When I walked the course I knew it was going to be a bit tricky but other than that, it was all good. The only part that concerned me was the inside cone on the last turn before the finish. Quite a few of the first run group were clipping it. Even some STS guys were too.
Even the boxes looked tricky but they turned out to be fast parts of the course, IMO.

So even an EVO ploughs through turns if you go in too hot?

From the Top Gear video's I've seen I though it would just lift a wheel like the stiff civics and oversteer into the corner allowing you to countersteer and power out..what suspension setup do you have?

I really want to try the Yokahama Advan Neova's next but at $200 a pop they might be out of my budget (SF Mortgage kicks my *** every month)

Perhaps

Yeah some of those A-stock guys are sandbaggin. I think that loud *** silver one was dumped on coils and there was a m3 running full stoptech BBK (6pots front, 4 pots rear)

yup...I didnt play with tire pressure at all, so that might have been it, I was running 36psi all around from going to the strip

I run the stock advans (pretty sticky) and swift springs and a rsb

Here are the results. http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/Results...p/round13.html

I came in second in BSP-N, although I looked at the past events and both guys that run in that class are no longer novices by SCCA rules
oh wow, hey.

I was that black fc turbo lined up next to you on the grid. The one that plowed through station 1 on my first run. -__-

can't say much for the s2000, but it seems that my buddy in the 350 was having a difficult time coping with the gravel and however much power/torque he's putting down.

yeah I putting down 300 to the wheels, but the awd really did help keep the speed up when I under-steered (or shall I say, under-drove) into the gravel

what did your best time end up being? I managed a very slow 40.029 on my last run. My lines were terrible. I must have been rallying 70% of the time.

Going to try to make the 29th. We'll have to see since that is the weekend before finals. Anyone planning to go to the one in Stockton this weekend?

37.8 during the timed runs, 37.2 during the fun runs

If I didnt understeer hard through the hard right after the box I think I could have been into the 36s
