Exactly where on the axle did it break?
How many times have you side-stepped the clutch?
Can you please provide answers?

Glad you got it fixed, but I would have not paid, that should of been covered under warranty. I know its only $125, still I don't care if its $1.00. They should of covered 100% especially at 600 miles. BS! Subaru warranty seems to suck! My WRX is stock and daily driver. I am scared if something were to break, that they wouldn't cover it.

First of all, op learn the difference between hole and whole! jeez.

Second of all, I've had my 08 for almost a year, and I know of no other 08 sti's that have had a broken axle... I mainly chill on iwsti these days though, so thats based on my knowledge of issues on that side of the hill.

I drop the clutch all the time (just not with the RE070s, or other super sticky tires).

That said, if you do sidestep the clutch, be prepared to pay the piper!

Sucks about your axle, and I'm sure there is more to it then just a broken axle, but your posts are so hard to read that I can't make any of it out! I think there was something in there about getting a brand new car to replace yours, but I can't confirm since you speak a different language then us. I was only able to gather information based off of the replies to your posts, otherwise I wouldn't have replied to this thread since this isn't one of the three languages I speak.

I've got 2500 miles on mine, i've jumped it, and drifted in the dirt and wet roads. No problems, not even clutch trouble...i've been hard on the car, but that sucks for the axle breakage.

Y'all realize that the axles have been designed to snap at a predetermined location if over torqued.
