Am I the first person with a 08 STi with a broken axle!!

Driving over the HWY 17....big pot whole!!! Had the car towed to my ladies house...gonna take it to Suby!!! Called them and they told me that they wont replace the STi's Axle...but are gonna take my STi back and give me another one...!?!?! WTF...The car had only 658 miles!!! Have had it for two weeks and only the 3rd time i drive it!!!!

lol why complain if they are gonna give you a brand new car.. but seems odd that they dont just replace the axle.

Maybe they are going to try to fix the axle and given him a rental? Seems very odd that they'd just swap it out with a new car.

I think if its under a certain amount of time the car can be taken back under the lemon laws

yeah that wouldnt make sense.

Giving you a whole new car doesnt make too much sense....but sounds like you get the better end of the deal. IMo

No, the car needs to have the same problem for x number of times in y amount of time to be a lemon

MBasile's got the right idea. lemon law is a PITA of a process.

years ago my rsx was in the shop for ECU problems countless times. eventually, i just made a few threats of pursuing a lemon law case and i was let out of my lease with no termination costs. thank god i put nothing down...
