Am I the first person with a 08 STi with a broken axle!!

the 08 sti isnt the only one that has had axles breaking. have seen plenty of early sti's with broken axles.

I also say just get it fixed.

Also was thinking if you told the dealership you hit a large pot hole on the highway they may make you go after the city if the warranty doesn't cover it. I have heard of this happening before.

if they engineer it any better it wont be affordable

but AWD + 300 HP the axles cant hold up for 600 miles

the thing is sooo electronic now why not just make the clutch slide out slowly like that did that one year (sorry for the vaugeness)

i had one axle problem it was an exhaust that was teh problem

other than that no problems

true its alot cheaper

but the 6speed is solid compared to the 5 speed

why not put in a slipper

but 3 isnt as bad as this many on a new model

Sounds like simple abuse or a lot of co-incidental bad luck.

You abviously dont know anything about STi's...thats why you drive a 90's RS...The car wasnt even broken in...why would i drive it hard? I was in the car with my Pregnant wife? why would i drive hard on 17 with my lady like that? Why risk it? I honestly dont know WTF you are doing here... no one is trying to ***k subaru over...just want them to take care of my new car. You talk like you know but everything you posted makes you look like a 17 year old kid....and your telling me to man up? ***k you dude....you dont know who i am....

Yeah ....my 04 had two broken axles...all after i tuned it. Those 300trq killed me...hahaha but honestly...an 08 STi....with 600 miles on it...broken axles? WTF...So i got it fixed...getting the car later tonight wich i dout cause i have to take my lady to the Doctor...but ill get her tomorrow....i had to pay for labor only...not the axle wich im stoked about since the axle itself would be close to 500...
