Pretty sure you were lucky, last I heard it was 1.5 times the speed limit = reckless endangerment.

Something like that and officer discretion.

Oh I've definitely pushed my car to the limits before, but I was at Laguna Seca.

Lovin' how everyone playing the 'what, you've never been speeding?' argument conveniently continue to ignore this fact...

So much un-winning.

1) I said like. not the same. I'm only going off of what I have read. I've never actualy seen that exact road.

2) did you read what i wrote?( is that your commute speed?) How does this make sence. I don't drive like that

I just think its funny that everyone jumped on this guy's case.

It comes down to a time and a place for everything. And well this was not the time or the place.

No one here drives like a DMV handbook. But when you double the speed limit. Your not going to get many to support your cause.

The lack of having grown up thoughts causes more problems for other Subaru owners down the road. We all should be glad the OP did not hit anyone. As that would have for sure brought a huge crack down on Subaru drivers across the bay.

The OP posted location/pics of the road.

Nothing in his original statements add up. He knows if the whole TRUE store were/are told, NO ONE including a judge, would agree with their thought process.

We've been over this!

There's a difference between going 80 in a 65 than going 75+ in a 35.

It means I'm sick of people trying to make it seem like they're a victim when they're the ones that are committing the crime. Now if you're falsely accused of something, by all means lawyer up, prove your innocence, and make sure they are held accountable for the false accusations. But don't go commit a crime, get caught, and then try and act like "I wasn't racing, I was cruising" and expect someone to come bail you out of a situation you got yourself into.
