Evidently today is world AIDS day. Ironically, I heard an "expert" claim that unsafe activities which were on the decline in the 80's, as a result of education, were once again on the rise. The expert attributed this rise in unsafe behavior to the fact that a lot of sick gay men with AIDS did not look so sick because of the medecine they were taking. So, HellaDumb was correct in an earlier post stating that people didn't fear HIV so much now because of medecine. Of course, I tend to think people who are that stupid deserve what they get.

The expert also pointed out that in Africa, many men believe they can cure their own AIDS by having sex with virgins. This is clearly a case of lack of education and/or trust of western education.
