Well ok i just posted in my other thread about my brake light so i found out what to do to fix it so i was on my way home from my g/f to do it b4 i had to go to school.

Well i was driving home on the airport via. And I noticed that my rpm went from like 3k and drop to 0. I was like WTF but I was like well my cars not losing power so i kept going. Then it started to drop idle like every 10 seconds so i was like am I haveing a short circut or what??? Then my radio started to act funny it kept shutting off and on. So for some reason i started to turn my headlights on (don't know why I did that for but oh wells) and everytime i turned it on my rpm would drop to o again.

So anyways when I went threw that little tunnel to get onto the H1 there was small kine traffic. So I pushed on my brake and next thing u knw my car shut off!!!! (so i was like oh SH*T!!!!) I hoped I was able to make it to the shoulder without hitting anyone because there was no brakes or power.

So I do make it to the sholuder and my car was completly dead I took apart my radio to make sure there was nutting grounded or touching other wire and there weren't. Then I followed my power wires to my amp and the battery to make sure there was no way I was losing power there and i wasn't but, just to be safe I took out my fuse by the battery.

Well one car pulled over looking like they were gonna help (cuz i had no idea what was wrong) but they were like sleeping in the car or something cause they didn't even come to see what was wrong. Then a bike pulls up like 10ft behind me so I was like cool this guys gonna help so I start to get out of my car again andf then I see him start his bike up again after he did something then took off.

Well finally my dad shows up with a battery charger and a volt meter and we find out that my alternator was bad so we decided to tow my car to our house with a rope.

Well while we were towing my car a dumb a** mother****** tried to speed up and merge in between my dad and I and he didn't even look to see why everyone was yelling and honling there horn and I was screaming at him cause my horn didn't work and he almost took me and the rope out I was pissed!!!

Well finally I got home and called my warranty comp. and they came picked up my car and are fixing my alternator. i'm glad its all under warranty. so now i'm car less for a cpl of days

yeah i had that same problem with my 84 626. turned out to be the alternator.. only thing the idle didnt drop just all of a sudden the car died and wouldnt start back up...

 

Damn...that's crazy *** ****. Some doofus decided to go in between of a towed car and it's tow'er?

Thus I rest my case. Hawaii drivers have **** poor skills.
