What the GOP has to do

We've kicked the ball around in some other threads, but the Republican party is in need of some serious reinventing.

I couldn't agree more with this article. Being educated doesn't make you an elitist and there shouldn't be an official religion for the party.

Definitely need a charismatic, energetic, relatable nominee with ads focused on everyone, in all states, and online like crazy.

No, you need a party that practices what they preach. A party that doesn't mock anyone who doesn't agree with them. A party that doesn't expand government size and spending and try to pin it all on their presidential choice. A party that's more concerned about everyone in the country and not a plumber and some fictional Joe six pack.... etc etc etc.

McCain's campaign demonstrated everything that is broken with the republican's. How do you expect to get votes when all you do is insult people (i.e. liberals, elitists, marxists, socialists, not part of real america). If you ever insinuated or even hinted that I was any of those there's ****ing way in hell I'd ever vote for you.

McCain/Palin got what was coming to them with their arrogant and excluding campaign.

Meh... only fours ago time magazine's cover read how could 50,000,000 people be so stupid. The left feared the religious right. So what happened? Where's the religious right now? I wonder how real the religious right ever was or how committed they were. Obviously not much or the right really ****ed themselves. Look, it's not rocket science. You need a charismatic leader that doesn't **** up all the time and does a decent job. Shortly after 2004 I got extremely tired of protecting Bush. He constantly dropped the ball. We can't be doing that **** anymore.

there's a little bit of truth in these comments, but pretty much can be directed at most republicans right now.
