It was my understanding the the phrase "the pot calling the kettle black" has nothing to do with race. I thought it was referring to the color of cast iron. Am I wrong? If I say "black" does it automatically become a race thing. Personally the N word does offend me. I don't think it's funny. On the other hand I do think the double standard is quite humorous.

You are right.. however when you edit that picture and add a comment box pointing to the black pot that says the N word.. it then becomes about race. I found that to be offensive and I called it for what it was in my eyes.
