Probably cause people would hate him...

I'm beginning to realize this now. I was naive to think being in the ****ing free USA that you can practice your religion and not be hated on, but **** was I wrong...

I used to think only middle america would confuse me for an Arab or a muslim... wrong again. Worst part is, nothing wrong with muslims, why the hate!?! That's their beliefs. If they want to have 4 wives and have women cover up, their beliefs... Christians have their beliefs as well. Reading a history book you'll find much more conquests and conversions and wars in the name of a christian god than any other religion.

Yeah, muslims have been extra brutal lately... but these are still extremists, not most muslims are like that at all.

You mean they don't bomb places like pakistan, african countries, phillipines, indonesia.... those places don't have to put up radicals? only OUR embassys?

Yeah, I guess I don't see it as such a big deal/lie/cover-up.

So by saying he wasn't a "regular practicing Muslim they are implying he was an irregularly practicing Muslim". That's thin.

He followed his step father to Friday prayers? Okay...

All I'm saying is that this is all pretty thin "facts" from people that knew barely knew him 30 years ago.

I went to Catholic Church TONS of times with my friend in grammar school because we spent weekends at each other's houses. I probably went more to his church than mine. I don't consider myself a Catholic, never prayed, nor did I take communion. People who may have knew me back then could say that I went to Catholic services and people could infer that I was Catholic. After all, my name is Ryan. That would not mean that it was true, or that I ever prayed at a Catholic Church.

I guess I just don't get how this is such a big deal.

but don't say that they are coming after us when they ****ing bomb and try to upset their home countries as well.

Osama is a ***** for not standing up to his family about dealing with the US. That's why he's pissed off anyways, cause we are in bed with oil kings in the middle east and we have bases over there. We need to stop putting ourselves in these ****ing **** hole countries, all it ends up doing is make some CEO and his board rich as **** and leaves us with dead men and women, bickering and ****ing poor.

How many times are we going to step in for other peoples issues. How many times are we going to put in puppet regimes that end up turning against us after a few years... When? Cause we can't keep making these mistakes.

 

I don't think its so much of a "big deal" as a "hmmmmm...."

 

The American public began to blindly fear Muslims. Later on, 1/3 believed that Bush and Cheney were just closet war mongers who used the new found fear of Muslims to start their widely successful war campaign which we've all benefited so much from.

 

It's amazing to me that you can make the leap that because he "followed his father to prayers" and "rarely went to the mosque with his step father" that he was once a muslim.

I have stepped inside of a mosque so I guess by your definition I was once a muslim....

I've also been to jewish temple as well as a hindu temple, so I must have once practiced judaism and hindu.....

 

I think we all need to remember who perpetrated those acts against us.

There wasn't any Iraqi's on that plane BTW, and the one responsible is still alive and kicking......
