Guys, you have to understand that the people left behind are also the poor, weak, homeless, and old. More than likely, they weren't able to get out during the whole evacuation. It's rough that people have to loot, but it's also a sign of the times. Sometimes disasters bring out the best in people, but it can also bring out the bad. What upsets me is how the portrait painted by the news reports is one showing people, particularly of color, looting for shoes, clothes, etc. We know very well that there are alot of them out there looting for food and other supplies for survival.
What Kanye said on the air was part of his raw emotion coming out. Before someone can put a question mark on what he said, we all must rememeber one of the golden rules of any open forum....To each their own.

..he's still a douche for even saying that so bluntly. it could've been a lighthearted comment on how he felt, but he had to take the extreme of the situation, ignoring the fact that white people are in the same exact situation.. very blunt.. somewhat ignorant, but understandable.
