what are the best springs to use on a wagon
I have an 02 wrx wagon, and I am planing on lowering it and upgrading the wheels. I have an eibach pro kit, in my posession ready to be put on, however, I have heard the rear will sag when the progressive portion of the spring is compresesed causing the wagon to look saggy in the rear, because they are made for the sedan and not the weight of the wagon. Could someone please tell me a good good spring which will lowere the car about an inch or so that will work for my wagon? Please help.

There are many options out there! Spring rates are published for most of the major suppliers. Some wagon owners have noticed that the rear is somewhat "down" to start with-look at the distance from tire to wheel well. Some set ups reduce front and rear equally which still leaves you with a down at the rear look. Try one that has 1.5" front and 1.0" or 0.8" reduction in the rear. Alternatively, you can just lower the front. Some, perhaps most, advise against this since front and rear spring rates would not then be "balanced" or matched. I prefer constant rate springs or variable rate springs with smallish variations, so to speak. But I would say yeah, with a highly variable spring rate on the rear you could bottom out. I would suggest you have alook at your car and measure the wheels gaps. Eibach from my sources lowers 1.3" front and 1.0" rear. Would that be an OK look on your vehicle when installed?

spring rates
Thanks for the advice. I wold like something constant rate, and 1.5 fron to 1 or less rear. I dont know which springs meet those specifications. I've done a lot of searching and alot of people say different heights for the same springs on their web sites and posts. Looking at Tein, H&R, and prodrive.
