wanting to upgrade suspension on 2.2L

I am looking to replace the suspension on my 98 2.2L cause my struts are leaking a little. so it gave me a reason to upgrade. i was looking a just replacing the struts with some KYB GR2s. then i was thinking if i can get good used parts for the same price y not try. so i was thinking about Stock WRX system. i am curious of what it will give me stat wise. about how much stiffer would it be will it raise or lower my car and if there are any parts i might need to do it

and if any of u have any for sale let me know

I got AGX struts for my 2.2L. Not the strongest strut, but it can be adjusted for a stiffer ride and its not that expensive.

Don't get used struts.

I don't think you can use the WRX suspension on the GC style chassis.

You might look into the KYB AGX's. Someone on ebay is selling them for like $400 brand new. You might even want to consider an entry level coilover setup. I know you can get brand new Megan's or BC's for about $900 shipped. Just something to consider. They KYB and Koni shocks both have lifetime warranties. That's something to keep in mind, despite KYB being a little more restrictive on the terms of warranties. Take a look. You might want to consider changing your springs as well. Might as well do that if you plan to have your stock suspension changed.

AGX struts work Great!

Just got done throwing on some KYB AGX adjustables on our 99 Impreza OB SW. They work great. Were about $135 a pop at http://www.import-racer.com/sku/733010 , free shipping. Give em the high five. Can adjust all four of them in a couple of minutes. Look great too!
