Angry

I would like to add a new issue to the possible clunk. I have found a major issue with my car. The long bolt that connects the rear outer lateral links to the bearing housing on my car moves from side to side while it is still tight and in place. The housing that this bolt connects to is streched where the bolt goes through and alows the wheel to move side to side a small amount. The movement makes a lot of a clunking sound when small bumps are driven over on the road. The car also seems to wander some which needs constant correction when driving. I am looking for options here on how to correct this but it dose not look good.
I sugest oters to look for this problem asap........

try some polyurethane bushings....it will keep the bolt tight and in place.

i wish it was that easy but it is the bearing carrier that holds the long bolt conecting the lateral links that is the problem not busings or anything on the lateral links. changing bushings would net the same result since it is not the aria of problem. My wheel and entire brake housing moves 1/8th of an inch side to side from this. The best answer i recieved is to ream and sleeve the housing to eliminate the streched hole the long bolt goes through.
Maybe i am the only one with this?
