Wheel imbalance would present itself regardless of whether or not you're under braking. Just get your alignment checked and also examine suspension pieces and any bushings for play or wear, or have the alignment shop do it.

I can't honestly discern what you mean by 'wobble' under braking unless I experience it. Is it a high-speed oscillating wobble, a tug that can be felt in the steering, or something else?

Have you checked the condition of your brakes including pad inspection? How do the rotors look? Are the brakes stock?

I recommend having the vehicle aligned and all four tires rebalanced at least every 1-1.5 years depending on how many miles you drive (approx. 15k miles/year).

Rotors may need to be turned. Pull the e-brake at speed and see if you feel vibration. I had an issue like this on my Accord and it needed new rear rotors. Depending on the mileage, have the wheels balanced as suggested. Good luck.
