would you take your car there with extreamly high dollar suspension peices on it there??
i ask because i dont want them jacking my stuff up and would rather go to a GOOD shop that takes a bit and charges more to get it done the right way.
will firestone align it to my spec???
and how do MSI and grond control corner balance a car???

we used to take all our NSX's up there when i worked in EDH.
they had the best computer alignment machine out and they actually KNEW how to use it.

talk to Eric there and explain what you want to do, (track, street etc.) and if you have specific alignment specs you want them to set them to (i.e. -1 degree camber front, -0.5 rear, 0 toe out front, 1/16" toe out rear, etc...), just tell them when you drop it off and they'll dial it in.

this is for a spec miata, correct?
if so, call Ground Control...if they have enough time to do the scales, they can prolly toe-plate it for you too if it's a race car...they don't like to do much for street cars, but for race cars, they're normally accommodating.

know any firestone's that will actually listen and do a good job on alignments?

The GF got the whole lifetime dealio and would like to know of a good one in the Bay area (since the one here in Hayward apparently told her 1.5 right rear and 1.7 left rear where ok number.)

that is one gay thing about firestone. if its within spec they leave it. once i had negative .4* camber on the front right and negative 1.5* and they left it the way it was because it was "within spec". a few days ago i told them to make sure the alignment is even on both sides and now i have negative .5* up front and negative 1.5* in the rear. I even told them to add more camber up front

Roseville for sure does...been there, told them what to do on the 6.
Citrus heights does too.(behind mall...been there over 10times with my mr2)

and...if you are down in sunnyvale, the Ron something or another one on el camino real does.

those are all by my personal experience.

the one on watt, marconi, and stockton blvd wouldnt do custom specs they said they dont do anything custom and will only align the car to manufacturer's specs. I guess i gotta drive all the way out to roseville to get it done right.

call around and ask, before the drive. I asked them....and they were cool with it. made the camber even per wheel, and even set some neg camber for the rear.
