Couple Questions
Okay, since I'm suspension stupid, I have a few questions:
1...If I get (let's say) Tein Flex Coilovers would that lower
it aswell so I wouldn't have to get lowering springs, correct?
2...If I do the Coilovers would it be safe to say I should also
get: Front & Rear Sway Bar
Strut Braces
Anti-Lift Kit
Sway Bar Links
I have no clue really so if someone that has a clue to
"clue" me in, that'd be great. What I want is a suspension
that is good for street & good for aggressive driving.
So what will I need to make this happen?
Thanks!

1. Generally speaking, coilovers include everything (springs and dampeners/shocks and usually top hats) thus you do not need to purchase anything else. It is recommended for some coilovers (dms40s) to use the sti top hats so you will need to purchase those as well and then swap out the dms top hat for the sti top hat--this is done for NVH issues (Noise, Vibration, Harshness)
2. If I were you...... I would do one thing at a time to see what effect that has on your handling. If you do coilovers, there may be no need to get a rear swaybar. With this said, I would get the sway bar endlinks for the rear (I have kartboy) no matter what you do--even if with the stock rear bar. It all depends on your mindset and wallet. If you are set on getting coilovers, get them and see what they do for you... you might find that you do not need to do anything else. For example, most people purchase a rear sway bar to make the car more neutral. This is done by stiffening up the rear a bit in relation to the front. If you have adjustable coilovers, you can stiffen the rear in relation to the front thus possibly eliminating the need for a rear sway. If you were planning on getting sways to combat body roll, I bet that you are happy with the reduction in body roll from just the coilovers (spring rates are much higher thus resisting body roll).
I just installed my tein flex coilovers.... I also have kartboy endlinks on my rear sway bar (stock sways).
now... my $0.02---If you are not going to go to the track or autocross and you just want a slightly stiffer suspension look at the sti v7 take offs from someone like Grouppe-S. Also make sure that you either get better tires on your stock 16s or get 17s with good rubber. (Assuming of course that you have a wrx). Coilovers (generally speaking) increase NVH and can ride pretty stiff for everyday driving--depending on their spring rate and dampening level. Find someone with the different suspensions you are considering and ask them for a ride!!! If you are in the south bay you can have a ride in mine.
good luck.
