Couple of Impreza Questions
I am in a neon vs. impreza thread on a different site and need some info. What year was the current impreza chassis created? What is the body made of? Do any owners of older impreza's have rust issues? What are some of your high mileage (over 120,000)? Any reliability problems?

You mean the WRX's and such? Its a 2002 model, sold initially in 2001. Came out in Japan in 2000 actually.
Rust issues on older models? No way, I have a 95 and nothing at all. Ive seen some even older subies and nothing much in terms of rust.
Reliability problems? Um... Nothing serious, but there are different quirks of different model years. Like the 98 RS has headgasket issues, 93-96 Imprezas have badly designed power steering pump resevoirs that tend to leak over time (I just swaped in a new one), but really theres no one issue over the course of the model years.

The current Impreza chassis was "created" in '00, it went on sale in early '01. I'm gonna guess Impreza's are made of metal. 
Just kidding, they're steel, some have aluminum hoods. My '00 Impreza has 26k on it, and there have been no rust or reliability problems. Sorry I can't help more.

A stock SRT will kill a stock GN. But a modded GN/GNX would probably walk all over an SRT. And pretty much all of i-Club will agree that turbo Buicks are cooler than turbo Neons.

If the race was stock vs. stock it would be more like driver vs. driver. The cars #'s are so close to see who would win. The GN has the same thing that dodge does too. More power than stated.
