Porterfield R4S pads for 2003 WRX

Porterfield R4S pads for 2003 WRX
Did anyone have problem with installing the Porterfield R4S pads on the front for the WRX? My friend who is a mechanic tried to install them for me on my car and the tabs on the pads from Porterfield is bigger than the tabs on my stock pads. I don't know if I'm the only one that this has happened to. Please help. Thanks!

If your pads were made for the 2002 model, they probably wont fit, the pad size changed with 2003.
