Mine is the same. It can best be fixed with adjustable struts and slightly stiffer springs. I'm looking to get prodrive springs and Konis soon.

I've gone through this with other cars, and I've found that struts take out 90% of the "bob and mush"...

A rear strut bar will help out alot due to the wagon having more weight on the backside...you know that huge open area in the hatch
Depending on cash flow you should look into the Tein Wagon Coilovers, I know they are right around 1k.
