You’re pissed at the wrong people you need to get in touch with the brake line manufacturer and seek reimbursement if the lines were infact defective. Perhaps the place you purchased the lines from sold you the wrong lines and if so they bare some resonsiblity as well. The shop did a job and while it would've been really cool for them to say, "don't worry about the labor the parts were crap" it's not their fault.

I'm in the process of upgrading the brakes on my POS mazda and it's not too hard of a job. Bleeding the brakes works best if you have a friend to help you and I reccomend getting a set of speed bleeders.

Sorry about all the trouble I hope you can get some sort of compensation.

everything is taken care of now for the most part. i was reimbursed for the brake lines from the local shop that i got them from. life goes on
