Question Switching springs yourself?

How hard is it to switch springs yourself? i was just got some new springs for my 02wrx. what is the process of changing them? where do i rent a compresser? Has anyone do it?

I rented a spring compressor from Kragen for $6. It's much easier if you have air tools, but a big breaker bar will also work in removing the strut bolts.

If this is your first time replacing the struts with hand tools, expect to spend the better part of a day, maybe 4-6 hours with a couple of breaks.
